KEF, the British hall of fame audio brand, has been accumulating breakthroughs over the past 60 years, and has always been committed to innovative fusion and boundary-pushing. Recently, KEF officially announced its collaboration with British luxury sports car brand Lotus to create a high-end audio system for its new pure electric Hyper SUV model Eletre, which combines speaker drivers with car interiors, embedded with key technology Uni-Q® coaxial co-point units, and equipped with Uni-Core™ technology that breaks the established imagination of size and sound. To create a full range of immersive audio effects, to show the excellent acoustics and pure sound quality. The British pioneer has joined forces to bring an authentic and extraordinary automotive acoustic experience to the general public, marking a new milestone in the enduring partnership between KEF and Rutgers.
Rutgers Eletre, the supercar-class pure electric SUV
The Eletre, the first pure electric SUV in the Rutgers Lifestyle model line, is a striking and avant-garde vehicle. It not only inherits 74 years of sports car DNA and technology, but also reinterprets it in a new way to bring a new generation of young customers an exciting driving experience and a new lifestyle.
The Eletre features a four-wheel drive system, a battery capacity of over 100kWh and a maximum power of nearly 1000hp. As the first model to be built independently of the sports car architecture, the Eletre opens up a whole new dimension in the Rutgers performance car range and is the first of many “firsts” for the brand: the first five-door production car, the first pure electric car in the lifestyle category, and the most “smart and connected” Rutgers ever. The first five-door production car, the first lifestyle car, and the most “smart and connected” Rutgers model ever.
KEF has worked closely with Rutgers to create a high-end audio system for the Rutgers Eletre through its acoustic engineering expertise, bringing a truly scalable spatial listening experience and pure sophistication. The standard audio system is KEF Premium, which features KEF’s unique Uni-Q® technology and surround sound technology, with 1,380 watts of power and 15 speakers. The Uni-Q® coaxial co-point unit positions the tweeter at the acoustic center of the mid-woofer, so that the two are combined into a single co-point source, allowing everyone to experience the natural and realistic sound of the acoustic performance.
At the same time, users have the option to upgrade their sound system to KEF Reference, with 2160 watts of power and 23 speakers. This optional version (KEF Reference) features not only Uni-Q® coaxial co-point units and 3D surround sound technology, but also KEF’s revolutionary Uni-Core™ technology. Both KEF Premium and KEF Reference feature semi-open speakers in the doors, combining technology and design aesthetics for a superior sound experience.
